We received over 450 spectacular pictures from all around South Carolina, which made selecting only six finalists extremely difficult. Please take a minute to vote for your favorite photo. There are $600 in cash prizes up for grabs!








Prizes, Voting, and the SC Picture Project

Voting begins today and ends Friday, July 8, 2011 at midnight. The contest is accessible via SCIWAY News, SCIWAY's homepage, and the South Carolina Picture Project. Voters will be able to choose only one favorite photo, and the three photos with the most votes win.

The first place winner will receive $300; the second place winner will receive $200, and the third place winner will receive $100. The top photo will also be featured as SCIWAY's "Photo of the Month" for July.

SCIWAY is hosting this contest to encourage contributions to the South Carolina Picture Project. The goal of the SC Picture Project is to celebrate the beauty of the Palmetto State while preserving some of its vanishing landscapes. We hope that it will create pride among South Carolinians and provide joy and inspiration to those who live far away.
