Starr, South Carolina

South Carolina Anderson County Starr Starr is located in Anderson County, south of the City of Anderson on SC 81. The town was originally named Twiggs, but when the Savannah Valley Railroad was completed in 1884, the name was changed to Starr Station in honor of a popular engineer who drove the train through town.
