Contest Overview
Since most South Carolina towns are fairly small, we will consider images from all cities with less than 25,000 residents – this excludes Aiken, Anderson, Charleston, Columbia, Florence, Goose Creek, Greenville, Greer, Hilton Head Island, Mount Pleasant, Myrtle Beach, North Charleston, Rock Hill, Spartanburg, Summerville, and Sumter.
Photos should show a cultural landmark, historic building, natural scene, or local event – basically anything that truly represents a particular South Carolina small town and makes it unique.

South Carolina's Picture Project
The purpose of the
South Carolina Picture Project is to celebrate the beauty of the Palmetto State while preserving some of its vanishing landscapes. We hope that it will create pride among South Carolinians and provide joy and inspiration to those who live far away.
