South Carolina Picture Project — Share Your Pictures with the World!

SCIWAY.net would like to showcase our state's beauty and variety by hosting pictures of South Carolina. If you have a photograph or art that evokes and/or chronicles our state, you can send it to us to share with SCIWAY's many visitors.

Submission Rules and Guidelines

• While we love to see all pictures or art that evoke South Carolina, we reserve the right to decide which submissions to include in the photo gallery.
  
  
• The photograph, painting, or drawing must be representative of South Carolina and convey the unique beauty and character of our state.
  
  
• Pictures submitted will be considered for photographic quality. Photos need to be formatted to 72 dpi and be sized at least 600 by 450 pixels. They must have a clear focus, a balanced exposure (not too dark or too light), and the main subject must be sharp. Photos should not include copyright notices, borders, timestamps, or watermarks. Only images in natural color will be considered.
  
  
• The quality of the description accompanying the photo is a factor in our consideration. We encourage interesting stories or anecdotes that give a sense of place.
  
  
• You will receive full credit for the photograph or art you have sent us.
  
  
• Ready to submit your photo? Simply fill out our short Picture Submission Form.
  
  
• You can also send us diskettes, photographic prints, and other "hard copy" items by mail. We can convert your hard copy images to electronic files, but we can't return the originals to you.
