Pickens County, South Carolina – Pinnacle Lake View

To many, Table Rock is the most beautiful mountain in South Carolina. This is the view you see when you look at the south side of the mountain from SC Highway 11.

According to Cherokee legend, the smaller peak to the right is the Stool where the Great Spirit sat when he ate at the Table (center). Pinnacle Lake is in the foreground.
