Pickens County, South Carolina – Table Rock Ledge

This is the view you see when you reach the top of Table Rock. I had the best meal of my life on this mountain one summer day about 20 years ago – a Milky Way and a cup of water. Lord, I was tired! I can still remember how good it felt to sit on the warm rocks, and eat and drink, and feel the breeze, and breathe.
