Greenville County, South Carolina – Poinsett Bridge
|
The Poinsett Bridge is located in the northern reaches of Greenville County off of US 25. Built in 1820, it was once part of the main highway from Charleston to North Carolina. The bridge is named after Joel R. Poinsett, and is one of the oldest surviving bridges in South Carolina. Steven Faucette of Williamston took this photo. You can see more of his pictures at Steven Faucette Photography.
