Aiken, South Carolina – Willcox Inn

D.S. Owens of Aiken took this night shot of the Aiken Willcox Inn in December 2007. From the early 1900s to the 1950s, the Willcox played host to a variety of famous dignitaries from the Vanderbilts to Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Neglected for almost 30 years, the Willcox Inn has now been restored to its former glory and welcomes guests in its elegant surroundings.
