These photos were taken on SCIway.net's road trip to McClellanville in March 2008. We spent a little bit of time wandering through the village and soaking in the unique character of the place. A good place to start any visit of McClellanville would be to park at the end of Pinckney Street next to the boat landing. If you happen to be there on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, be sure to stop in the Village Museum, which has a variety of exhibits on local history. It is located right next the boat landing and town hall.

Jeremy Creek has always been the center of activity in McClellanville, as the seafood industry continues to play a vital role in the local economy. It empties out into the Intracoastal Waterway, at the edge of the village.

T.W. Grahams is McClellanville's long-standing local restaurant and favorite amongst visitors and residents alike. We were a little early to enjoy eating there, but we've heard very good things about it.

Located on Pinckney Street, which is McClellanville's principal road, this house evokes the feeling we got as we walked around. The grand oaks, open spaces, and quiet streets make for a peaceful and inviting setting.
