Huntington Beach, South Carolina – Egret and Alligator

Edy Obrien took this photo of a Great Egret and an alligator at Huntington Beach State Park in July 2007.

He writes: "It was my last day of a two-week vacation and I had to say goodbye to the beach. The causeway over the marsh was full of sand cranes. I took over a dozen pictures. But in this particular shot, I did not realize that one of the gators had slithered through my picture until my shots were printed."
