Eve Brewer of Easley snapped a photo of this Great Egret at Huntington Beach State Park in May 2007.
Eve writes: "When we stay in Surfside Beach, I go to Huntington early every morning to take photos. I have never been disappointed in subject matter. This particular morning the Egret was fishing. The sunshine really made him stand out against the dark water. What was really interesting to me were the shadows on his lower back. He stood perfectly still as if posing for me to take his photo."
