Ridgeway, South Carolina

South Carolina Fairfield County Ridgeway Ridgeway is located in Fairfield County. The town got its name when, in the late 1800s, the Charlotte and South Carolina railroad decided not to lay tracks on the Camden route, but chose instead to use the "ridge way." The presence of the railroad provided jobs and encouraged more people to move to the area.
