South Carolina Laurens County Laurens
Laurens is located in northwestern South Carolina close to where I-385 from
Greenville joins I-26 (about two-thirds of the way from
Columbia to Greenville). It is the seat of
Laurens County. Both Laurens and Laurens County are named after Henry Laurens of
Charleston, who was president of the Continental Congress during the
Revolutionary War. Here is a map of the
